Even though it was not our "real" anniversary last Thursday, I was took my beautiful wife (officially as of today) of 6 years out for a nice dinner. We decided upon the Parker House in Ridgeland, MS because it is our favorite place. We always get great food and service, and this time was no exception. My sister was nice enough to come to our house and watch our kids so that we could do this. Since we ate so early, we had time to grab a coffee from Barnes & Noble's Starbucks and just stroll around outside at The Renaissance. It was downright lovely. With 2 kids now, life has just seemed so busy that we have not had time (or taken much time) to do some simple things to show affection. Just holding Rebecca's hand and walking around with her was delightful. We went home not long after that, but the few hours out were priceless. I am very happy to have been married to that beautiful woman for these 6 years now, and look forward to so many more. Happy 6th Anniversary, Rebecca!
