Scrounging

I was able to scrounge up some more pictures. These were taken over the weekend, but I am just not getting time to post them up. (I usually do this while Rebecca is asleep....as she is currently. ha ha).

It has been really fun recently to go around "The Ranch" and take pictures with my little bro, Glen. He got himself a nice little point and shoot camera that is very capable, and we have both enjoyed trying to "one-up" each other with the different shots we get. I think it is good practice for both of us. It challenges me to get shots and look at things in ways that I would not normally.

Some of these pictures are just that....things that I would not normally shoot, or things shot in a way that is not normal for me.

This tree (don't really know what it is) turned out to be a great model. It just looks really cool how it has the little bend in its trunk. It was perfect for looking up at the beautiful, blue sky, and snapping the shot.

My poor, pitiful spoiler on my car is losing its paint. I hate to see it go. The clear coat is giving way on parts of the car. I just hope it will hold out for another couple of years until I can justify getting another one.

One solitary sweet gum ball. They are such odd looking seeds. I guess I never really think of them as seeds, but that is exactly what they are.

This one is hard to see. It is actually an old guard rail by some steps that lead down to the lake. It has moss and stuff growing all over it, and I thought it would be nice in a photograph. Turns out, I was right.

A different view of my beautiful Rebecca.

Enjoy.

Those are some good pics. I especially like the sweetgum-ball with background bokeh. That one is neat.

I still think it is too cool that General Fuzz commented on your Blog. I love his stuff.
