Close But No Cigar

This past week, I was eagerly awaiting the news to trickle down from the judges of the Next Top Credit Union Executive competition that I am a part of. They were to be deciding upon the top 5 in the competition. Those top 5 would move on to the finals, present at a big conference in Florida in November and the champagne would flow. Ok, I might have made that last part up.

The announcement was to come this past Tuesday (Yes, I realize that was about 4 days ago...just now getting to this). Well, they announced the ones that will be moving on...and unfortunately, I was not in that lot. It was a good run and I genuinely appreciate your support and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity.

The Clinched Spot

You've heard some from me in the past couple of weeks about the Next Top Credit Union Executive competition that I'm in, and may have even voted for me. I would like to thank all of you that did vote for me...because of you, I am writing this post.

I have made it to the Top 15! From here, I will move on to the next level and write a blog post detailing more of my project, as well as another video. Those are to be judged by official judges (don't rest too much, I might still need a bit of voting help in the coming months) and then the top 5 will be announced.

I hope to be in the top 5, as I will get to go to the CUES CEO/Executive Team Network Conference in Manalapan, FL in November to present my project to the entire conference!

Stay tuned and thank you again!
