Take Three

December 1, the first of the last of a year. The dawn of a new season. Not a more perfect day was made for a photo shoot than this one.

For years now, I have been photographing this family. The two oldest boys were much younger and much smaller when we first did a photo shoot over 4 years ago. Also, they have added another into their lot...another boy. This nearly-year-old bundle is just happy to be in the presence of his big brothers. He wants to go where they go...he wants to climb what they climb. No doubt, he cannot go and do everything that they do, but that does not stop him from trying.

We met at the craft center on the Natchez Trace again this year. We have taken photos there in the past, and Amy wanted some similar photos of the youngest, "Super Charlie," as the middle one calls him.

What a handsome set of boys and beautiful family. It has been fun watching them all grow, both in age and in number.

Cold Yet Full of Warmth

Last weekend, I got to meet a Twitter friend in person for the first time. She was just as delightful in person as she is online....I guess she's not making up that online persona afterall!

Angela and Patrick asked that I have the honor of taking their Christmas car photo this year. I jumped at the idea and we determined their newly constructed house in Madison would be a great location.

When I arrived, I found a pleasant couple, recently moved back here from New Orleans...and a little dog, Cromwell, that was oh so excited to have visitors.

Since the sun was still about 45 minutes from setting, and it was a clear day, we headed up to the front of their neighborhood entrance. They have a beautiful display of stone and fountain, and it surely was a beautiful spot on which to pose.

After that, we went back to their house (a whopping 4 blocks or so) to finish up the session. We were able to find some pretty spots shocasing their detailed architecture and colorful, but young yard.

I really enjoyed my time with these two recently, and I hope you enjoy perusing the photos from our time together.
